Careem and Hala Launch Ramadan “Tip Matching” Feature to Boost Drivers’ Earnings

Careem, in collaboration with Hala, is celebrating the holy month of Ramadan by launching a limited-time “Tip Matching” feature, designed to double tips for Careem drivers across the UAE. From February 18 to March 19, Careem will match every tip of AED 10 or more, at no extra cost to customers, directly increasing drivers’ earnings during the festive month.

The tip-matching feature provides a practical way to support drivers on the road, helping them increase their income while continuing to offer reliable service across Dubai during this blessed month.”

Whenever a customer tips AED 10 or more after completing a ride or delivery, or via a Hala Taxi trip booked through the app, Careem and Hala automatically match the amount, doubling the driver’s tip. 100% of the tips, including the matched amounts, go directly to the driver’s Careem Pay account, allowing instant access and transfer to their bank account.
