eFinance for Financial and Digital Investments is one of Egypt’s leading companies operating in financial technology and digital infrastructure, with its activities extending to electronic payments, digital government services, cloud computing, digital healthcare, and other sectors.
During the 29th edition of Cairo ICT, held in November 2025, eFinance participated in the event’s activities, with Engineer Ibrahim Sarhan, Chairman of the Group, taking part in the official opening session of the exhibition.
The group also participated in discussions addressing the future of financial and banking infrastructure, while Mahmoud Ashmawy, the group’s Chief Technology Officer, participated in AIDC Expo 2025, which focused on artificial intelligence, data centers, and cloud computing.
eFinance’s participation comes as the group continues to expand its operations beyond electronic payment and collection systems to developing digital infrastructure that supports multiple financial and government sectors.

Artificial Intelligence at the Core of Digital Infrastructure

eFinance is developing digital infrastructure capable of supporting artificial intelligence applications, in line with the growing adoption of smart technologies across government and financial services.
In July 2026, eFinance signed a cooperation protocol with the State-Owned Enterprises Unit affiliated with the Cabinet to provide hosting and digital infrastructure operation services for the “Rashid” platform.
The agreement includes providing secure and advanced digital infrastructure, hosting services, secure storage capacity, and the computing resources required to operate the national platform’s artificial intelligence applications.
The project builds on eFinance’s role in providing technological infrastructure for government digital platforms, while expanding the use of data and artificial intelligence in operating digital services.
Digital Payments Network for the Non-Banking Financial Sector
In January 2026, the Financial Regulatory Authority, in cooperation with eFinance, launched the first integrated digital payments network for Egypt’s non-banking financial sector.
The network operates as a unified electronic platform that enables the digital payment of financial dues related to FRA services, helping accelerate business processes, reduce reliance on paper-based procedures, and improve institutional efficiency.

The initiative reflects the expanding use of digital payment

infrastructure beyond traditional government services and into non-banking financial activities.
GreenMe Platform to Support Green Financing
In July 2026, eAswaq Misr, a subsidiary of eFinance, announced a strategic partnership with GreenMe Limited to launch and activate the “GreenMe Egypt” digital platform for the industrial and services sectors.
The platform aims to accelerate digital lending for green and sustainable projects through mechanisms that assess project eligibility based on indicators and standards developed by international development institutions, while connecting assessment results with financing products and project monitoring.
The partnership supports the use of financial technology to facilitate access to financing for sustainable projects and connect data with financing decisions.

Cybersecurity Solutions and Digital Service Protection

Cybersecurity is another key area of development within the group. eFinance participated in the sixth edition of the CAISEC’26 Conference and Exhibition in June 2026 as the event’s technology partner for the fifth consecutive year.
During its participation, the company showcased advanced solutions for threat detection and response, along with AI-powered technologies designed to identify threats at an early stage and accelerate incident response, supporting business continuity and the protection of critical sectors.

Cloud Computing and Artificial Intelligence Partnerships

eFinance’s technology strategy also extends to cloud computing. In 2024, eFinance Cloud signed a memorandum of understanding with Dell Technologies to launch an AI-ready cloud platform in Egypt, aiming to accelerate AI-driven innovation among businesses.
The partnership supports the group’s strategy of developing infrastructure that combines cloud services with the computing capabilities required for artificial intelligence applications.

An Integrated Digital Transformation Ecosystem

eFinance Group includes companies and platforms operating across several fields, including electronic payments, cloud services, digital healthcare, and digital financial services.
The group’s journey has included the development and operation of payment systems and digital networks supporting government and financial services, alongside projects in areas such as e-invoicing, universal health insurance, and digital banking services.
eFinance to Showcase Its Latest Solutions at Cairo ICT 2026
With the 30th edition of Cairo ICT focusing on the theme “AI in Action – Turning Intelligence into Impact,” eFinance is set to highlight the role of financial technology, artificial intelligence, and digital infrastructure in developing financial and government services.

The group is expected to showcase its latest solutions in AI

infrastructure, digital government platforms, digital payments, cloud services, cybersecurity, and digital finance.
These areas reflect the latest developments across eFinance’s operations and ongoing projects, as Egypt continues to expand the use of artificial intelligence and digital transformation across the financial and government sectors.
