Samsung has raised prices for the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus and Galaxy S26 Ultra by around $100 for most configurations on its official website, with some models now costing $200 more than their previous-generation counterparts at launch.

Galaxy S26 Prices Increase

The 256GB Galaxy S26 now costs $1,000, marking a $200 increase over the comparable Galaxy S25 launch price. The 512GB version has risen to $1,200.

The Galaxy S26 Plus is priced at about $1,200 for the 256GB model and $1,400 for the 512GB configuration.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra starts at $1,400 with 256GB of storage and reaches $1,600 for the 512GB model. The 1TB version has climbed to $2,000, representing a $200 increase.

The Galaxy S26 FE is the only conventional smartphone in Samsung’s current lineup that has not received the increase, after launching in markets about a month ago.

Higher Costs Put Pressure on Samsung’s Mobile Business

The latest price increases come as Samsung’s mobile device business faces growing cost pressures. The division recorded its first-ever loss during the April-June 2026 quarter, even as the company’s overall revenue increased.

Samsung attributed the decline in operating profit in its mobile business to higher costs, including rising prices for key components such as RAM and storage memory. Those factors may have contributed to the decision to raise Galaxy S26 prices again.

Samsung’s semiconductor business, meanwhile, delivered strong results during the same quarter and helped the company achieve record quarterly revenue and operating profit.

The price increases may not end with the Galaxy S26 lineup. Reports indicate that Samsung could implement even larger price increases with the upcoming Galaxy S27 series.
