In a move that reinforces the localization of national industry, Bank NXT announced the signing of a credit facility agreement worth EGP 2.1 billion with Ezz Elarab El Sewedy Investments. The financing will support the group’s industrial expansion plans, fund new investments in automotive plants, and establish a modern automotive paint production line.

This partnership reflects Bank NXT’s strategy to lead corporate financing for major enterprises and high-impact economic projects.

Investment Empowerment and Economic Integration

Amr Gamali, Deputy CEO of Business at Bank NXT, stated that this financing highlights the banking sector’s role in enabling the private sector to execute its investment strategy. He noted that the bank aims to direct capital toward sustainable investments that create added value for the Egyptian economy.

Shereen El Gazzar, Head of Corporate Banking and Investment Banking at the bank, explained that successfully closing the transaction demonstrates the team's credit expertise and ability to manage large-scale funding, cementing Bank NXT’s position as a key financial partner for top Egyptian corporations.

Expanding Production Capacity and Financial Flexibility

Mohamed Saleh, CEO of Ezz Elarab El Sewedy Investments, emphasized that this step serves as a core pillar for manufacturing automotive components locally and building integrated supply chains. He added that the new paint plant will boost the competitiveness of domestic products.

Ahmed Fathi, Chief Financial Officer of the group, noted that the financing utilizes a balanced financial structure that optimizes funding costs while providing the necessary flexibility to manage future expansions seamlessly. He praised Bank NXT’s confidence in the group’s solvency and creditworthiness.
