Business results for the first half of 2026 marked exceptional milestones reflecting accelerated growth rates, with the bank delivering a net profit of EGP 7.9 billion. Total assets climbed to reach EGP 420 billion by the end of June 2026, alongside an expanding deposit base of EGP 298.5 billion and net equity standing at EGP 69.6 billion.
Credit Expansion Supporting the Private Sector & Boosting Production
Loans and credit facilities reached record levels of EGP 158.5 billion by the end of June 2026, achieving a 26% increase compared to the same period last year. This expansion underlines the bank's firm commitment to providing necessary liquidity for economic activities and stimulating private sector and business community investments.
Diversified Revenue Sources & A Flexible Capital Base
The bank successfully diversified its revenue streams, recording net interest income of EGP 14.2 billion during the first half, in addition to a 25% increase in net fee and commission income to reach EGP 1.7 billion compared to H1 2025. This financial strength was matched by a capital adequacy ratio rising to 30.32%, providing a solid buffer to execute future investment plans.
Jump in Retail Banking & Accelerated Financial Inclusion
The retail sector maintained positive momentum, with retail deposits growing 20% to hit EGP 89.8 billion, while the personal loan portfolio grew by 12% to record EGP 29.4 billion compared to December 2025. This growth is driven by accelerating the expansion of digital apps and smart financial solutions to reach all consumer segments.
