Google is enhancing its Google Meet experience with an updated version of its “Take Notes for Me” feature, giving users a faster way to review key meeting information.

The newly introduced Quick Notes section provides a condensed summary of important discussions, decisions, and action items. It appears at the top of the meeting notes document, allowing users to quickly understand what happened without reading the full record.

For users who need more details, Google continues to offer the complete meeting record through a separate “Full Notes” section, which includes expanded information from the discussion.

The update brings Google Meet closer to competing platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams, which also provide AI-powered meeting summaries. Google is integrating Quick Notes into eligible plans that already include its meeting note-taking feature.

The functionality is available to selected Google Workspace plans, as well as Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra for personal accounts.
