Mohamed Shibl: Orange Egypt aims to turn digital infrastructure into real services and economic value
Orange Egypt is working to turn investments in digital infrastructure into practical services that deliver real value to businesses, government institutions and consumers, said Mohamed Shibl, Executive Vice President for Orange Business at Orange Egypt.
Speaking during FDC Summit 2026, Shibl said the next phase of digital transformation should move beyond building infrastructure to ensuring that these capabilities translate into services that improve operations, accelerate innovation and support economic growth.
He highlighted Orange Egypt’s role in cloud computing, data centers and cybersecurity, describing these areas as key pillars for the country’s digital transformation and the development of more advanced digital services.
Shibl said Orange Egypt is seeking to position itself as a broader technology partner, rather than solely a connectivity provider, by supporting businesses and institutions as they modernize their operations and adopt cloud, cybersecurity and data-driven solutions.
“We aim for Orange to be a partner in building the future in Egypt,” Shibl said, stressing the company’s commitment to supporting Egypt’s wider digital development agenda.
His remarks come as demand for cloud infrastructure, data centers and cybersecurity services continues to grow, driven by the increasing reliance of businesses and government entities on digital platforms and data-intensive applications.
