Nvidia is considering investing up to $10 billion in Anthropic’s initial public offering (IPO), which could become the largest in the history of initial public offerings, according to Reuters.

Anthropic is seeking to raise up to $100 billion from the offering, potentially valuing the artificial intelligence company at around $2 trillion, Reuters reported.

The company is currently in talks with Nvidia, the world's largest AI chipmaker, to come on board as an anchor investor in the offering.

Anthropic had previously anticipated that the size of its offering would match or exceed SpaceX's record IPO, as reported by Bloomberg in August. This ambitious goal reflects the massive transformation underway in the AI sector and the profound impact of its leading companies on the tech investment landscape.

In May, Anthropic raised $65 billion at a valuation of $965 billion, surpassing its rival OpenAI. The ChatGPT developer was valued at $852 billion in March after raising $122 billion.

Representatives for Nvidia and Anthropic did not immediately respond to Bloomberg’s requests for comment. Reuters noted that the plans are still under discussion and remain subject to change.
