Haval Jolion 2027 Starts at EGP 985,000 in Egypt After Latest Price Increase
The locally assembled 2027 Haval Jolion Facelift is now priced from EGP 985,000 in Egypt after GB Auto introduced a EGP 35,000 increase across all three variants in August, putting the compact SUV back above its previous summer pricing.
The latest adjustment takes the entry-level Standard variant to EGP 985,000, up from EGP 950,000, while the mid-range Deluxe is now priced at EGP 1.035 million, compared with EGP 1 million previously.
The range-topping High Deluxe has increased to EGP 1.135 million, from EGP 1.1 million. The latest move means all three variants have received the same EGP 35,000 increase.
1.5-Liter Turbo Engine Across the Lineup
All versions of the locally assembled Jolion are powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 148 hp at 5,600–6,000 rpm and maximum torque of 220 Nm between 2,000 and 4,400 rpm.
Power is delivered through a seven-speed wet dual-clutch automatic transmission (7DCT).
The SUV measures 4,472 mm in length and 1,841 mm in width, with a 2,700-mm wheelbase, giving it dimensions aimed at buyers looking for a family-oriented compact SUV with relatively generous cabin space.
Safety Equipment Expands on Higher Trims
Standard safety equipment includes ABS, electronic brakeforce distribution, electronic stability control, traction control, hill-start assist and hill-descent control.
Higher-spec versions add up to six airbags and a wider suite of advanced driver-assistance technologies, including forward-collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, lane-keeping assistance, lane-departure warning and blind-spot monitoring.
The upper trims also gain features such as traffic-jam assistance, a 360-degree camera and automated parking, pushing the Jolion further into the technology-heavy end of Egypt’s locally assembled compact SUV segment.
Larger Screen and More Premium Cabin Features
Inside, the 2027 Jolion offers a 14.6-inch infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, alongside a digital instrument cluster.
Depending on the trim, equipment includes dual-zone automatic climate control, electrically adjustable leather seats, heated front seats, wireless smartphone charging and a panoramic sunroof.
Exterior equipment includes LED headlights and taillights, alloy wheels measuring up to 18 inches, electrically folding and heated side mirrors, and roof rails.
The latest price increase comes only weeks after the locally assembled Jolion was offered from around EGP 949,000 in July, highlighting the rapid pricing changes still shaping Egypt’s new-car market.
With a starting price just below the EGP 1 million threshold, the Jolion remains one of Haval’s key locally assembled models in Egypt, competing on a mix of turbocharged performance, cabin technology and advanced safety equipment rather than price alone.
