Arab Security Conference Opens Voting for 2026 Cybersecurity Influencer Award
Organisers of the 10th Arab Security Conference have opened public voting for the Arab Cybersecurity Social Media Influencer Award 2026, an initiative that recognises Arab content creators and cybersecurity professionals whose work has helped raise public awareness of digital security across social media platforms.
The award celebrates individuals who have made a measurable impact by producing credible Arabic-language cybersecurity content, promoting cyber awareness and encouraging safer digital practices for individuals and organisations throughout the region.
Ten finalists from across the Arab world have been shortlisted following an evaluation process that assessed the quality of their content, its educational value, its contribution to cybersecurity awareness and its influence on strengthening digital literacy within Arabic-speaking communities.
Voting will remain open until 16 August, with the winners scheduled to be announced on 29 August. The awards will be presented during the Arab Security Conference Awards Ceremony 2026, to be held on 28 September as part of the conference's tenth edition.
The organising committee said the initiative reflects the growing importance of trusted digital voices at a time when cyber threats continue to evolve rapidly and misinformation remains a persistent challenge. By highlighting influential cybersecurity communicators, the award aims to encourage the creation of high-quality Arabic content that helps users better understand online risks and adopt safer digital behaviours.
Alongside the announcement, organisers invited cybersecurity professionals, academics, researchers, technology experts and digital content creators to participate in the conference, which has become one of the Arab region's largest cybersecurity gatherings. The event will bring together policymakers, government agencies, international organisations, global technology companies and industry experts to discuss emerging cyber threats, showcase the latest security technologies and explore the future of cyber resilience and digital trust.
Organised annually by Arab Security Consultants (ASC) under the patronage of Egypt's Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Arab Security Conference has established itself over the past decade as one of the region's leading platforms for cybersecurity dialogue, international cooperation and knowledge exchange. The conference attracts broad participation from government institutions, multinational technology companies and international organisations, reinforcing its role in advancing cybersecurity capabilities and supporting secure digital transformation across the Arab world.
