The US Dollar (USD) exhibited relative stability against the Egyptian Pound (EGP) during early morning transactions on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, according to the latest exchange rate updates from public and private sector banks in Egypt.

This period of consolidation follows brief fluctuations on Monday, during which the American currency slipped below the EGP 51 mark across several financial institutions.

Central Bank Benchmark

According to official data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), the greenback was quoted at an average rate of EGP 50.66 for buying and EGP 50.76 for selling.

Exchange rates remained steady across major state-owned and private financial institutions during early Tuesday trading:

National Bank of Egypt (NBE): Stood at EGP 50.67 for buying and EGP 50.77 for selling.

Banque Misr: Recorded EGP 50.67 for buying and EGP 50.77 for selling.
