Egyptian Gold Market Maintains Stability Near Friday”s Closing Benchmarks

The Egyptian gold market exhibited a state of relative stability following the conclusion of Friday's trading session, with prices holding steady across all key carats.
The 24-karat gold—predominantly utilized in gold bullion manufacturing—locked its selling price at EGP 6,777 per gram, while recording a purchase price of EGP 6,708. Meanwhile, the market’s primary benchmark, 21-karat gold, which commands the highest consumer demand in the domestic retail sector, registered EGP 5,930 for selling and EGP 5,870 for buying.
In the mid-tier segments, 18-karat gold was valued at EGP 5,082 for selling and EGP 5,031 for buying, whereas the lower-tier 14-karat gold closed its transactions at EGP 3,953 for selling and EGP 3,913 for buying.
