Gold Prices in Egypt Hold Steady on Tuesday as 21-Karat Reaches EGP 5,665 per Gram

Gold prices in Egypt remained stable on Tuesday, with the popular 21-karat gold trading at EGP 5,665 per gram for selling and EGP 5,635 for buying.

The 24-karat gold, the purest form available in the local market, was priced at EGP 6,463 per gram for selling and EGP 6,440 for buying. Meanwhile, 18-karat gold was quoted at EGP 4,874 for selling and EGP 4,830 for buying, while 14-karat gold reached EGP 3,770 for selling and EGP 3,756 for buying.

The gold pound was priced at EGP 45,240 for selling and EGP 45,040 for buying.

Weighing eight grams of 21-karat gold, the gold pound is valued according to the market price of 21K gold without additional manufacturing charges. It remains one of the most popular investment and savings products in Egypt due to its liquidity and ease of trading compared with gold jewelry.
