Egypt Gold Prices Rise as 21-Karat Reaches EGP 5,725 and Gold Pound Hits EGP 45,800
Gold prices in Egypt increased ahead of the close of trading on Tuesday, with the benchmark 21-karat gold rising to EGP 5,725 per gram, while the gold pound climbed to EGP 45,800.
The price of the 21-karat gold pound reflects the value of raw gold only, excluding making charges, taxes, and stamp duty. The coin weighs eight grams of 21-karat gold and remains one of the most popular investment products in the Egyptian market.
