Archist Design Studio is handling the design of the D.mile Zayed project.
Archist Design Studio has announced its involvement in designing the architectural and interior designs for the "D.mile Zayed" project in Sheikh Zayed City, developed by District 4 Developments with investments reaching EGP 2.5 billion. This collaboration aligns with the company's plan to deliver an integrated urban development that combines contemporary design, sustainability, and a high quality of life.
Engineer Ibrahim Magdy, founder of Archist Design Studio, stated that the project represents a new model for modern residential communities. It comprises approximately 300 residential units of varying sizes, including studios, one- to three-bedroom apartments, loft apartments, and sky apartments, in addition to a fully equipped hotel within the project, providing a comprehensive residential and service experience.
He pointed out that the project's designs prioritize creating an environmentally friendly architectural environment. This is achieved through the provision of an internal promenade that runs the length of the project, offering residents a more interactive and comfortable living experience. The design also incorporates sustainability solutions, such as dedicated electric vehicle charging stations within the development.
He pointed out that the firm focused on designing a Quiet Room within the project, which promotes a sense of comfort and tranquility for residents. This concept, new to the Egyptian market, was carefully incorporated into the design to become one of the project's key features. In addition, the project offers a variety of amenities within the landscaped area, including a children's play area and an infinity pool.
He explained that the project is being implemented in collaboration with Moharram Bakhoum, the project's executive consultant, while Archist Design Studio is providing design consultations. Crystal Asfour is contributing by creating a crystal walkway within the project, lending it a distinctive artistic and architectural character. Vodafone Egypt is the project's technology partner.
He added that the firm boasts a diverse portfolio of projects both within and outside the Egyptian market. It has designed the interiors for several La'zurde brand branches, most notably in Madinaty and Al Rehab, and has also developed residential projects in Cameroon, Gabon, Saudi Arabia, and Switzerland.
He confirmed that Archist Design Studio has also participated in the interior designs of several major projects, including Hyde Park, Lake View, Mountain View, and Sun Capital, in addition to a number of projects it is currently working on in Egypt, the Gulf, and Europe.
He indicated that through the "D.mile Zayed" project, the firm aims to present a modern architectural model that balances aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability, in line with modern global trends in real estate development.
