LIPTON Egypt Strengthens Community Bonds with Ramadan Initiatives and Year-Round Support
As part of its ongoing commitment to community engagement, LIPTON Teas and Infusions Egypt has reinforced its role as a responsible corporate partner through a series of initiatives aimed at creating lasting social impact. The company’s efforts span healthcare support and participation in large-scale community events that foster unity and solidarity.
This year, LIPTON took part in the 12th edition of El Matareya Iftar, one of Egypt’s largest communal Ramadan gatherings, providing 3,000 Ramadan boxes to underprivileged families. In addition, the company contributed its range of tea and hot beverages, supported event setup, and decorated key tables and streets with Ramadan-themed elements to create a warm, festive atmosphere.
Beyond Ramadan, LIPTON maintains year-round support for Al Nas Hospital, providing tea and herbal infusions as a gesture of appreciation for medical staff while offering comfort to patients and their families. Mennat-Allah Sharkas, General Manager of LIPTON Egypt, emphasized: “We believe in actively supporting communities and contributing to initiatives that create a positive impact in people’s lives. Our partnership with Al Nas Hospital extends throughout the year, reflecting our long-term commitment to giving back.”
LIPTON’s community-focused initiatives extend to collaborations with Al Ahly Community Development Foundation and Misr El Kheir Foundation, including meal distribution campaigns, hospital visits with football stars, and Ramadan food boxes featuring Lipton tea.
