Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) has launched the official logo and approved hashtag for the “Year of Artificial Intelligence 2026,” as part of efforts to accelerate digital transformation and strengthen the data-driven economy in the Kingdom.

The announcement comes within the framework of national initiatives aimed at expanding the adoption of artificial intelligence technologies across government and economic sectors, in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to build an advanced digital economy driven by innovation and modern technologies.

By designating 2026 as the Year of Artificial Intelligence, Saudi Arabia seeks to accelerate the adoption of advanced technologies across key sectors including government services, healthcare, industry, education, and smart cities, with the goal of improving service efficiency and developing innovative solutions that support sustainable economic growth.

SDAIA is leading national efforts to regulate and advance the data and AI ecosystem through data governance frameworks, the development of digital infrastructure, and support for innovation.

The authority is also working to expand the use of advanced technologies across both government entities and the private sector, as part of Saudi Arabia’s broader ambition to position itself as a global hub for data and artificial intelligence technologies.
