Nilepreneurs Initiative and United Bank Achieve Milestones in Supporting SMEs and Startups in 2025
The Nilepreneurs Initiative, in partnership with United Bank, continued to deliver tangible results in 2025 by expanding non-financial services designed to empower entrepreneurs and startups, enhance the efficiency of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and promote innovation and digital transformation among youth. These efforts align with the Central Bank of Egypt’s strategy to support entrepreneurship.
By the end of 2025, the initiative provided 18,614 non-financial services, benefiting approximately 5,543 entrepreneurs and startup owners, reflecting the initiative’s growing reach and impact across diverse beneficiaries in the market.
The services offered include a comprehensive range of solutions supporting business growth, from idea development and business model refinement to assistance in preparing feasibility studies and credit files for banking finance. The initiative also supports licensing procedures and digital transformation for existing businesses, enhancing their readiness for growth and scalability.
These services are delivered through Business Development Service Centers in several governorates, including Minya and Dakahlia, providing an integrated environment for consulting, training, and technical support to transform ideas into sustainable, scalable projects.
These results highlight the success of the partnership between United Bank and the Nilepreneurs Initiative in creating an integrated support ecosystem for entrepreneurs, combining advisory, financial, and non-financial services. This approach strengthens the competitiveness of SMEs and aligns with Egypt’s broader economic objectives of innovation and digitalization.
