Talabat Egypt Launches “Sekket Rezq” Initiative to Empower Youth from Care Homes
Talabat Egypt, the leading technology-driven e-commerce platform in the Middle East and North Africa, announced the launch of the “Sekket Rezq” initiative through a strategic partnership with Sonaa Al‑Khair Foundation for Development—a member of the National Alliance for Developmental Civil Work—and Suez Canal Bank, under the patronage of the Ministry of Social Solidarity.
The initiative was officially inaugurated in the presence of Dr. Maya Morsy, Minister of Social Solidarity. “Sekket Rezq” aims to support and empower youth from care homes by equipping them with the skills and opportunities needed for effective integration into the labor market, in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030 for social protection and youth economic empowerment.
The initiative targets the integration of 55 young men and women from care homes into the workforce by providing transportation tools such as motorcycles and bicycles, funded by Suez Canal Bank. In addition, personal bank accounts will be opened for beneficiaries to enable independent financial management, alongside offering sustainable job opportunities through Talabat Egypt’s logistics partners.
This collaboration represents a comprehensive model of partnership between the private sector, the banking sector, and civil society, combining employment opportunities, productive assets, and financial inclusion to create a tangible and sustainable social impact.
