Agricultural Bank of Egypt Appoints Ahmed Ramzy as Head of Enterprise Risk Management
The Agricultural Bank of Egypt (ABE) has announced the appointment of Ahmed Ramzy as Head of Enterprise Risk Management, reflecting the bank’s commitment to attracting top-tier banking talent to support its strategic objectives, strengthen its competitive position, and expand its market share within Egypt’s financial sector.
Ramzy is recognized as one of the leading experts in risk management, with more than 18 years of banking experience across major financial institutions. His career includes senior roles at Bank Audi and HSBC before joining SAIB, where he served as Head of Market Risk in addition to overseeing the Middle Office of the Treasury Department, prior to moving to the Agricultural Bank of Egypt.
Ramzy has completed a number of advanced professional programs, including the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in the United States, alongside a wide range of specialized credentials in financial markets and risk management.
The appointment forms part of ABE’s broader strategy to enhance governance, reinforce enterprise risk capabilities, and elevate institutional performance, supporting the bank’s expansion and development plans in the coming period.
