Cyber Zone at Cairo ICT Emerges as a Youth Hub for Cybersecurity and AI Talent

Under the umbrella of the 29th edition of Cairo ICT 2025, one of the Middle East’s leading technology exhibitions and conferences, the second edition of Cyber Zone launched as one of the newest and most dynamic attractions of the event. Held for the first time across two dedicated locations within the exhibition, Cyber Zone hosted a series of hands-on challenges and competitions open to all visitors, drawing remarkable participation from school and university students eager to test and showcase their technical skills.

Designed as an interactive laboratory for developing the next generation of tech talent, Cyber Zone offered high-intensity competitions across key future-focused domains. Participants engaged in challenges covering artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, data analysis, digital photography, creative media production, and digital arts. Each challenge required contestants to solve a specific task announced at the start of the competition, underscoring Cairo ICT’s commitment to building national digital capabilities.

A Platform for Advanced Competitions and Idea Discovery

Throughout the event, Cyber Zone hosted multiple technology-driven challenges, with young participants forming the majority of contestants. The competitions saw strong, direct matchups between students as they raced to meet clear objectives set by organizers, providing an authentic environment for evaluating skills and discovering promising talent.

This year’s edition reinforced Cyber Zone’s role as a strategic addition to Cairo ICT’s ecosystem. More than just an exhibition area, Cyber Zone has evolved into an incubator for young digital talent. Its focus on AI, cybersecurity, and data analysis reflects Cairo ICT’s dedication to integrating youth into the core of digital transformation discussions, contributing to knowledge-based economic growth and preparing the future workforce for the demands of the tech-driven era.
