Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Mr. Sherif Fathi, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, and Mr. Ahmed Kajouk, Minister of Finance, confirmed the continuation of coordination and joint work between the concerned authorities to promote Egyptian civilization in conjunction with this historic event, which is the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum; through the issuance of gold and silver coins and commemorative stamps that embody the splendor of this unique cultural edifice, which is one of the most important international museums.

The Ministers stressed that these commemorative issues come within the framework of the Egyptian state's keenness to consolidate the national identity and perpetuate the great historical moments, and highlight the aesthetics of the Egyptian heritage and its unique civilization in front of the world.
