34 Egyptian Tech Startups to Represent Egypt at Web Summit 2025 Under National Pavilion
The Digital Economy and Technology Division of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce has announced that 34 Egyptian technology startups will take part in Web Summit 2025, one of the world’s largest technology and innovation conferences, held in Lisbon, Portugal, from November 10–13, 2025. The delegation will include both exhibiting and visiting startups, participating under the umbrella of the Egyptian Pavilion.
This marks the sixth consecutive year of Egypt’s participation at Web Summit since the launch of its national pavilion in 2019, through a strategic partnership between the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and the Digital Economy and Technology Division. The initiative aims to support Egyptian startups, strengthen their global competitiveness, and attract international investment into Egypt’s growing ICT sector.
Showcasing Egypt’s Rising Tech Scene
Eng. Khalil Hassan Khalil, Chairman of the Digital Economy and Technology Division, emphasized that Egypt’s participation in this global event reflects the country’s growing presence in the international tech landscape.
> “Web Summit offers a strategic platform to highlight Egypt’s success stories in artificial intelligence, fintech, digital sustainability, and digital transformation,” Khalil said. “Our startups are proving that Egyptian innovation can compete and excel globally.”
Mr. Ahmed El-Wakil, President of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, added that the participation underscores Egypt’s national commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
> “Events like Web Summit enhance global confidence in the creativity and technical capabilities of Egyptian youth,” El-Wakil noted, praising the joint efforts of ITIDA and the Digital Economy Division in enabling local startups to access international markets and partnerships.
Egypt’s Strongest Delegation Yet
Web Summit brings together more than 70,000 participants from over 160 countries and features 1,000+ speakers from leading global tech companies and institutions. It serves as a hub for discussions on the future of technology — spanning AI, cloud computing, digital infrastructure, policy, and sustainability — while offering startups a unique opportunity to showcase innovations, connect with investors, and compete in the renowned PITCH competition.
This year’s Egyptian Pavilion will feature 24 exhibiting startups, including:
Intella, iSupply, CliniDo, Roboost, OMB Education, NowPay, ElGameya, Glamera, VERO, QubX3D, HNDL Fleet Management, AI Studio, Scale by AI, Sportyano, GrowthLabs, Bekya Pay, Bekia Inc., Skoolix, Jadeed Climate Tech, AgriCash, Sabika, Freelance Yard, Super Be, and Furniture Hub.
In addition, 10 visiting startups — including Tasmimak, MedSpark, Entreprenelle, Tatbeek for Digital Solutions, Metco for Engineering Works, KoCyber, AMS Engineering Service, CardoO, MOMKEN for Her, and Gate CDS — will participate in networking and business development activities.
Empowering Egypt’s Digital Future
