LG Egypt Launches New Community Initiative to Support Marriage of People with Disabilities in Minya and Assiut

In collaboration with Misr El Kheir Foundation and under the slogan “Life’s Good,” LG Egypt has launched a new community-driven initiative aimed at supporting the marriage of people with disabilities from underprivileged families in the governorates of Minya and Assiut. The initiative seeks to help them begin their married lives with dignity, stability, and a sense of independence.

This marks LG Egypt’s first initiative specifically designed to facilitate the marriage of people with disabilities, reflecting the company’s deep commitment to corporate social responsibility, inclusion, and equality. The program provides essential household appliances that help newlyweds build their homes and enjoy a comfortable start to their new lives.

During its first phase, LG Egypt supplied several modern appliances—including washing machines and televisions—equipped with the company’s latest energy-saving and high-efficiency technologies, ensuring both sustainability and long-term affordability for the families.

The initiative operates within Misr El Kheir Foundation’s “Marriage Support” program, which focuses on empowering young people with disabilities economically and socially by reducing the burdens that may hinder them from starting a stable family life. This partnership underscores the shared mission of both organizations to support vulnerable communities and promote full social inclusion and justice.

Mohamed El Gedawy, Marketing and PR Manager at LG Egypt, stated:

> “At LG, we believe that our slogan ‘Life’s Good’ truly comes to life when everyone has equal opportunities. We are proud to support people with disabilities through this initiative—it reflects our genuine commitment to building a more inclusive and compassionate society where young people can begin their journey with dignity and independence.”

Eng. Ahmed Youssef, Senior Director of the Direct Aid Program at Misr El Kheir Foundation, added:

> “We highly value our ongoing partnership with LG. This initiative represents another milestone in our joint efforts to empower people with disabilities across Egypt. Supporting them in establishing a stable married life enhances their dignity and strengthens their social integration, which remains one of our key objectives.”

LG Egypt confirmed that the initiative in Minya and Assiut is only the beginning of a broader series of programs aimed at empowering people with disabilities across multiple governorates. The company plans to continue expanding its social impact initiatives to foster sustainable development and reinforce the values of solidarity and inclusion.

Through this joint effort, LG Egypt and Misr El Kheir Foundation reaffirm their commitment to spreading hope and building a society where everyone has the opportunity to create a better, more stable future—because, as LG believes, “Life’s Good” when it’s good for everyone.
