Juhayna Boosts “Enmaa” Farm Capabilities with Advanced Rotating Parlor Upgrade to Drive Efficiency and Sustainability

Juhayna Food Industries has announced a major enhancement to its fully owned “Enmaa” farm in Bahariya Oasis, upgrading the rotating parlor with cutting-edge technologies as part of its broader strategy to advance dairy production, agricultural innovation, and sustainable practices.

The upgraded parlor, manufactured by global dairy technology leader DeLaval, features 80 milking points and can process up to 500 cows per hour. Integrated with smart monitoring and control systems, the unit delivers improved efficiency in daily operations, ensures optimal performance, and guarantees consistently high product quality.

Commenting on the milestone, Seif Thabet, CEO of Juhayna Food Industries, said:
“At Juhayna, we believe that enhancing production capabilities begins at the source — the farm. Our ongoing investments in the development of Enmaa farm reflect its vital role within our integrated agricultural and industrial ecosystem. Sustainability is a fundamental pillar of our vision, and we remain committed to implementing practices that conserve natural resources, minimize waste, and ensure responsible long-term growth.”

Thabet added that the initiative is more than a technical upgrade:
“It represents the integration of advanced technologies into our daily operations, strengthening operational efficiency and sustainability, while supporting Egypt’s food security objectives and aligning with the ambitions of Egypt Vision 2030. This project reinforces our dedication to delivering excellence from raw milk production to the final product reaching consumers.”

Spanning 7,686 feddans, Enmaa farm is among Egypt’s largest specialized dairy farms, with around 7,000 heads of cattle, including 3,500 milking cows. The farm’s ongoing infrastructure development is central to Juhayna’s vertical integration model, which encompasses agricultural and livestock production, manufacturing, and distribution.

Juhayna continues to invest across agriculture, manufacturing, and distribution to ensure the delivery of high-quality, locally produced products. By prioritizing local manufacturing and talent development, the company underscores the private sector’s pivotal role in supporting Egypt’s economy and advancing sustainable development goals.
