LG Unveils Next-Generation Smart Vacuums at IFA 2025, Designed for European Homes

LG Electronics (LG) is introducing a new lineup of advanced vacuum cleaners at IFA 2025 in Berlin, showcasing products tailored specifically for European households. The range includes a robot vacuum with steam mop, a built-in robot vacuum station, a cordless stick vacuum, and a wet-dry stick vacuum — all designed to deliver greater convenience, powerful performance, and seamless integration into modern living spaces.
AI-Powered Cleaning with a Modern Touch
LG’s upgraded robot vacuum now features a steam mopping system capable of removing grease and liquid spills while keeping the mop clean through hot water and steam sterilization. Offering more than double the suction power of its predecessor, the device adapts to both hard floors and carpets with an AI-driven detection system that automatically detaches the mop when needed. The docking station, styled like a furniture piece, blends into home interiors while providing sterilization and storage. For added security, the vacuum is equipped with LG Shield, the company’s platform for data protection.
Space-Saving Built-In Solution
Another highlight is the built-in robot vacuum station, designed to fit discreetly under a kitchen sink. The station’s auto-opening door, air circulation for quieter operation, and automated water supply and drainage create a fully hands-free cleaning experience. A turbidity sensor monitors mop cleanliness in real time, ensuring energy-efficient and hygienic maintenance.
Consistent Suction and Hygiene
LG’s new stick vacuum introduces Micro Cyclone technology to maintain suction power without clogging — even with pet hair and fine dust. An auto dust disposal system minimizes user exposure to allergens, while its compact, free-standing station allows for easy recharging and storage.
Lightweight Wet-Dry Versatility
Responding to growing demand for lightweight solutions, LG’s new wet-dry stick vacuum combines comfort with performance. Equipped with AI Roller Control and built-in LED lighting, it easily handles both liquid and solid messes, from sauces to pet food. Its mop head undergoes hot water washing, steam sterilization, and hot air drying for consistent hygiene.
“LG’s new vacuums are designed for European homes and lifestyles, delivering reliable performance along with greater comfort, hygiene, and peace of mind,” said Lyu Jae-cheol, president of the LG Home Appliance Solution Company. “We are committed to introducing innovations that meet the diverse needs of our customers and create effortless ease and elegance in everyday life.”
LG’s latest vacuum lineup will be showcased at the company’s IFA 2025 booth in Hall 18, Messe Berlin, from September 5–9.
