“Damen” for E-Payments Announces Strategic Partnership with “Cargas” to Streamline Payment Services and Promote Natural Gas Adoption

Damen, a leading provider of electronic payment solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with Cargas, a pioneer in the distribution of natural gas as an alternative fuel for vehicles. This collaboration aims to simplify the payment process for customers while encouraging the transition to clean and sustainable energy.

As one of the most expansive players in Egypt’s fintech landscape, Damen operates a robust network of over 100,000 point-of-sale terminals across the country. The company offers more than 3,000 diverse services, including bill payments for electricity, gas, water, and school fees—making it a vital driver of Egypt’s digital transformation and improved access to essential services.

Aims of the Partnership

The partnership between Damen and Cargas seeks to deliver a seamless digital payment experience for Cargas customers by enabling gas bill settlements through Damen’s nationwide infrastructure. The joint effort focuses on enhancing user convenience, reducing transaction time, and supporting environmental sustainability goals.

The agreement was signed in the presence of Eng. Khaled Mohamed Omar Raslan, Chairman and Managing Director of Cargas, and Eng. Sameh El Mellah, CEO of Damen.
