Egyptian Stock Market Sees 3% Rise in EGX30 Index Midday on Tuesday

Egyptian stock market indices continued their upward momentum in midday trading on Tuesday, with the EGX30 index rising by 3%, reaching 3,255 points. Meanwhile, the Islamic Sharia Index surged by 3.2% to 3,351.6 points.
The broader EGX100 index also gained 2.23%, standing at 12,946.39 points, while the small and mid-cap companies index (EGX70) climbed by 2.11% to 9,490.81 points.
The total market capitalization of listed stocks reached EGP 2.284 trillion, up from EGP 2.233 trillion at the close of the previous session.
While Arab and foreign investors turned to selling with a net value of EGP 121 million and EGP 19 million, respectively, Egyptian investors were net buyers, contributing a net purchase value of EGP 140 million.
The total trading value for the day stood at around EGP 3.3 billion, with 1.1 million securities traded through 72,000 transactions.
