US Dollar Holds Steady Against Egyptian Pound at Major Banks on September 20
The US dollar remained broadly stable against the Egyptian pound at major Egyptian banks on Sunday, September 20, 2026.
At Alexandria Bank, the dollar stood at EGP 52.08 for buying and EGP 52.18 for selling. The same rates were recorded at National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr.
At Commercial International Bank (CIB), the US dollar was quoted at EGP 52.03 for buying and EGP 52.13 for selling, while the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) recorded EGP 52.079 for buying and EGP 52.21 for selling.
Meanwhile, the dollar was priced at EGP 52.09 for buying and EGP 52.19 for selling at Egyptian Gulf Bank.
