Binance Bahrain Expands Local-Currency Account Funding Options
Binance Bahrain has expanded account-funding options for eligible users by introducing additional ways to fund accounts in local currencies, including bank transfers and cards, while also removing deposit fees through certain eligible funding channels.
Local-Currency Funding Options
Eligible users can fund their accounts with supported local currencies through available fiat channels, including bank transfers and cards. The options allow users to add funds to their accounts before accessing the digital-asset products and services available on Binance Bahrain.
The update also includes deposit-fee waivers through selected eligible channels, allowing accounts to be funded without deposit charges where those channels are supported. Availability depends on the currencies and funding methods offered to each user.
The changes are designed to simplify the journey from opening and funding an account in local currency to accessing digital-asset services, while relying on familiar payment methods such as cards and bank transfers.
Supporting the Financial Super App Vision
The move is part of Binance’s vision for a more integrated financial ecosystem, expanding connections between traditional financial services and digital assets while supporting its broader Financial Super App vision for a more connected user experience.
Bayan Jubeiry, General Manager of Binance Bahrain, said the company is focused on making access to cryptocurrency easier through more user-friendly experiences.
She said providing local-currency channels and familiar funding methods, alongside a simpler registration journey, gives users more options to begin using digital-asset services.
She added that combining easier access to local currencies with familiar funding methods forms part of Binance Bahrain’s efforts to improve the platform experience, while supporting Binance’s broader vision of a more connected Financial Super App.
Binance Bahrain continues to provide eligible users with access to digital-asset services through supported local currencies and available funding channels, focusing on simpler registration and account funding and more flexible access to Binance’s products and services in Bahrain.
