 The African Cooperation Committee at the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI), chaired by Dr. Sherif El-Gabaly, continued its trade delegation program with a visiting business delegation from Burkina Faso, aiming to expand commercial partnerships and open entry channels for Egyptian goods in West Africa.

As part of the two-day itinerary, the committee coordinated field tours for the Burkinabe delegation across major manufacturing complexes in 6th of October City, focusing primarily on the processed food and construction materials sectors to showcase domestic production technology and quality standards.

Industrial Inspection and B2B Discussions

Visiting delegates toured several industrial facilities across 6th of October's industrial zone, highlighting strong interest in sourcing Egyptian manufactured goods to satisfy supply gaps in Burkina Faso's domestic market:

Priority Sectors: Discussions centered on volume procurement for foodstuffs and essential building materials, leveraging Egypt's competitive manufacturing costs and shipping logistics.

B2B Matchmaking: Bilateral talks connected Burkinabe importers directly with factory management to examine technical specifications, unit pricing, and export supply terms.

Institutional Linkage: Both sides agreed to establish direct, permanent communication channels between Egyptian manufacturers, the Burkinabe delegation, and the Burkina Faso Chamber of Commerce and Industry to streamline trade clearances and commercial transactions.

The trade mission forms part of the FEI African Cooperation Committee's broader strategy to diversify export destinations across sub-Saharan Africa, supporting national targets to expand regional trade integration and accelerate Egyptian non-oil exports.
