MSMEDA and Aman Holding Sign EGP 250 Million Financing Agreement to Empower Egyptian Micro-Enterprises
The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA) has signed a new EGP 250 million financing contract with Aman Holding, a subsidiary of Raya Holding. The strategic agreement aims to expand access to funding for micro-enterprise owners and entrepreneurs across all Egyptian governorates.
The contract was officially signed by Mostafa Hassan, CEO of MSMEDA, and Hazem Mohamed Maghazy, CEO of Business and Commercial Affairs at Aman Holding. The signing ceremony was attended by senior executives from both entities, including Mohamed Medhat, Deputy CEO of MSMEDA, and Ayman Basiouny, CFO of Aman Holding.
Driving Entrepreneurship and Financial Inclusion
Mostafa Hassan emphasized that ongoing cooperation with development partners is a core pillar of MSMEDA's strategy to expand microfinance. The agency focuses specifically on funding productive projects and incentivizing informal businesses to integrate into the formal economy.
Hassan noted that the partnership aligns with state directives led by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly (Chairman of MSMEDA) to foster a supportive environment for self-employment and entrepreneurship.
