The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) announces the beta launch of Loghat, a groundbreaking English language learning application tailored specifically for Egyptian learners. Developed by the Applied Innovation Center (AIC) in collaboration with experts of English Language Education, the application leverages advanced Generative Artificial Intelligence to deliver a highly personalized, flexible, and adaptive educational experience. 

Loghat marks a qualitative leap in Egypt’s digital education sector. It is the first application of its kind in Egypt to harness generative AI to address the specific linguistic challenges faced by Egyptian native speakers—ranging from pronunciation and vocabulary to sentence structure and conversational context.

Key Features of "Loghat" 

The application offers a suite of smart solutions designed to support and accelerate the language learning journey, adapting seamlessly to each user's individual learning pace. It features real-time interactive conversations with instant feedback on errors and pronunciation, building the confidence and fluency required for professional and daily life. It also provides instant, round-the-clock, online educational support, thus enabling users from all backgrounds to achieve their language learning goals.

An Intelligent Learning Companion

Available free of charge, Loghat functions as an intelligent companion that evolves alongside the user. It utilizes an adaptive learning roadmap that features AI-generated conversations and highly accurate pronunciation assessments. The application comprehensively covers language proficiency levels from A2 to C1, aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
