Qodwa-Tech Launches Digital Micro-Learning Track to Develop Women Entrepreneurs Digital Skills

The Qodwa-Tech initiative for women’s empowerment has introduced a new digital micro-learning track, drawing around 300 women entrepreneurs and small business owners.

The track features six specialized sessions, each focusing on a different digital topic, helping participants acquire skills they can apply in their businesses and use to build a stronger online presence.

The first session was held online in early August and focused on Facebook. It walked participants through the differences between personal profiles, Pages, and Groups, along with what makes content effective, how to boost engagement, and how to build a community around a business. The session also covered understanding of target audience, how Facebook's algorithms work, key performance metrics, and common pitfalls to avoid.

Moreover, the session explored Facebook advertising fundamentals: setting campaign objectives, defining the target audience, choosing the right ad formats and placements, sizing images and videos correctly, setting budgets and testing ads. It closed with a look at the mistakes that most often hurt campaign performance.

The launch of the new track is part of Qodwa-Tech's efforts to diversify its activities and deliver practical digital content that helps women sharpen their skills and stay ahead of market demands. This step serves the initiative's broader goal: advancing women's digital empowerment by moving them beyond basic skills toward the hands-on use of technology to manage, grow, and promote their businesses.
