Huawei Showcases Intelligent Digital Power Solutions at Solar & Storage Live Egypt 2

Huawei reinforces its commitment to supporting Egypt’s transition toward a more sustainable and intelligent energy future through its participation as a major exhibitor at Solar & Storage Live Egypt 2026, taking place on 11–12 August. Huawei is showcasing its latest intelligent solar and digital power solutions, highlighting how technology can help enable the adoption of clean energy and support the evolving energy needs of customers across Egypt.

This year’s showcase brings Huawei FusionSolar to the forefront, reflecting the company’s continued focus on using digital technologies to support the wider adoption and more efficient management of renewable energy. FusionSolar offers intelligent solar solutions designed to support a wide range of applications, from residential and commercial installations to industrial and utility-scale projects.

Among the key highlights of Huawei’s participation are three of its latest innovations, each designed to address different energy needs:

• The 506 Inverter: Huawei’s largest string inverter to date, converts electricity generated by solar panels into usable power for large-scale solar projects, while helping operators manage and monitor their systems more efficiently.

• Luterra: An advanced all in one hybrid inverter with battery energy storage solution that helps store renewable energy, balance electricity supply and demand, and enhance the stability of the electricity in households.

• Utility Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) with Internal Power Conversion System (PCS): Designed to help large-scale power systems integrate renewable energy more effectively, while supporting grid stability and reliable power management.

Huawei also showcased its latest centralized liquid-cooling DC charger; the FusionCharge Supercharger recognized as the fastest EV charger currently available in Egypt. For the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) sector, Huawei introduced its latest liquid-cooled Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) 241 kWh product. Designed for microgrid, on-grid, and off-grid applications, this technology is positioned to lead the next growth surge in the C&I energy storage market

Together, these solutions demonstrate Huawei’s approach to using digital technologies to make renewable energy systems smarter and easier to manage. By combining digital intelligence with power electronics, Huawei provides customers and partners with greater visibility and control across their energy systems, helping them integrate renewable energy more effectively and optimize how it is managed and used.

The showcase comes as Egypt continues to expand the role of renewable energy across its economy and advance its transition toward a lower-carbon energy landscape. As businesses and industries increasingly look to adopt clean energy solutions, digital technologies are playing an important role in enabling more efficient energy management, improving system visibility and supporting the integration of renewable energy into existing power infrastructure.

This is particularly relevant to Egypt’s industrial sector, where national efforts are encouraging greater adoption of solar energy. These efforts include the Shams El-Sinaa (Sun of the Industry) initiative, which aims to install rooftop solar systems across approximately 7,000 factories, generating 1,000 MW of clean energy.

Commenting on Huawei’s participation, Tony Bu Leiming, CEO of Huawei Digital Power Business Egypt, said: “Throughout our 26 years in Egypt, Huawei has remained a trusted partner in the country’s development journey, guided by our ‘In Egypt, For Egypt’ strategy and our belief that technology can be a catalyst for sustainable growth. Our participation in Solar & Storage Live Egypt 2026 reflects this continued commitment, as we showcase how intelligent digital power and solar solutions can help accelerate the adoption of renewable energy in Egypt, while enabling businesses and industries to build more efficient, resilient and sustainable operations.”

Huawei’s participation in Solar & Storage Live Egypt 2026 reflects its broader commitment to advancing digital and green technologies in Egypt and supporting the country’s renewable energy ambitions. Through Huawei Digital Power, the company continues to combine digital intelligence and power electronics to enable smarter energy systems, facilitate the integration of renewable energy and accelerate the digital transformation of the energy sector.
