Egypt’s Housing Ministry Rolls Out Diverse Investment Opportunities in New Cities via Digital Platforms
The Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities is continuing to offer a diverse array of investment opportunities across the country's new cities. These offerings are made available through the digital investment platforms of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) for both domestic and foreign investors, accommodating transactions in local and foreign currencies, from the 1st to the 15th of each month.
This strategic move is designed to attract further investments, maximize the utilization of state-owned assets, and improve the overall investment climate. It also seeks to streamline procedures for investors while bolstering the state's broader efforts in digital transformation and institutional governance.
Driving Sustainable Urban Development
Eng. Randa El Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, emphasized that these offerings align seamlessly with the state’s strategy to achieve sustainable urban development.
"These initiatives are crucial for increasing private sector participation in executing developmental projects, in accordance with the objectives of Egypt Vision 2030. They also enhance the competitiveness of our new cities, positioning them as highly attractive hubs for both investment and population growth," El Menshawy stated.
The Minister pointed out that Egypt's new cities are currently witnessing an unprecedented boom in investment volumes and urban development, serving as a primary engine for economic growth in the current phase. She reaffirmed NUCA's ongoing commitment to rolling out promising investment prospects to stimulate further urban expansion and attract domestic and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).
Strategic Locations and High Returns
Furthermore, Eng. El Menshawy highlighted the premium nature of the offered sites, which were meticulously selected based on comprehensive planning studies. A significant portion of these plots is strategically located along major traffic axes, regional highways, and high-density residential areas. This prime positioning significantly enhances the economic feasibility of the prospective projects, ensuring maximum returns on investment for developers.
