Gold prices in the local market recorded an increase during trading sessions on Thursday, July 30, 2026. The price of 21-karat gold—the most widely traded in the Egyptian market—recorded EGP 5,910 for selling and EGP 5,890 for buying.

According to the latest update, gold prices stood as follows:

• 24-Karat Gold: EGP 6,754 for buying and EGP 6,731 for selling.
• 21-Karat Gold: EGP 5,910 for selling and EGP 5,890 for buying.
• 18-Karat Gold: EGP 5,065 for buying and EGP 5,048 for selling.
• 14-Karat Gold: EGP 3,940 for buying and EGP 3,926 for selling.
• Gold Sovereign (Gold Pound): EGP 47,280 for buying and EGP 47,120 for selling.
• Local Gold Ounce: EGP 210,058 for buying and EGP 209,347 for selling.

On the global front, the international gold ounce recorded around EGP 5,850 for buying and EGP 5,800 for selling according to reported figures, while silver reached EGP 98 per gram for buying and EGP 96 for selling.

Gold prices continue their movements in local markets in conjunction with global price changes, alongside US dollar exchange rate developments and supply-and-demand dynamics within the Egyptian market.
