National Telecommunications Institute (NTI) launches the third edition of the Cyber Security Academy for Youth and Youth

Within the framework of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology's strategy to build digital capabilities, enhance cybersecurity, and spread the culture of safe and responsible use of technology, the National Telecommunications Institute (NTI), under the auspices of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, announced the launch of the third edition of Cybersecurity SuperHero Academy – Cybersecurity Academy for Youth and Youth, which is implemented in cooperation with the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA), represented by the National Center for Computer and Network Emergency Preparedness (EG-CERT), and a group of international and local companies.

In this context, the Institute announced the start of registration in the first phase of the third edition, which targets children and youth from 8 to 17 years, provided that the opening of registration for the second and third phases, allocated to university students and graduates, will be announced successively, according to the Academy's schedule.

This year, the Academy aims to train more than 6,000 trainees from different age groups, which is approximately equivalent to the total number of beneficiaries trained over the previous two editions, in a step that reflects the large expansion witnessed by the program, whether in terms of the number of beneficiaries, its geographical scope, or its training content.

The Academy's training programs are implemented in 17 governorates across the Republic, through the headquarters of the National Institute of Communications and Egypt's digital creativity centers "Kritiva", and include: Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Al-Sharqiyah, Menoufia, Al-Gharbia, Dakahlia, Qalyubia, Beheira, Beni Suef, Fayoum, Minya, Assiut, Qena, Aswan, Port Said, and Al-Arish.

The launch of this version of the Academy comes as a continuation of the success it has achieved during the previous two editions, and to consolidate the vision of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in investing in human development as the main pillar of cybersecurity, enhancing digital awareness among various segments of society, preparing generations capable of protecting their data, dealing safely with digital technologies, and keeping pace with the rapid developments in the fields of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.

The Academy provides an integrated training system that is graded according to ages, combining awareness of digital security, safe use of the Internet skills, data protection and digital privacy, and dealing with cyber threats and attacks, in addition to practical training on the latest technologies, which contributes to building a generation that possesses the awareness and skills necessary to meet the challenges of the digital world.

The Academy also relies on an interactive learning experience that combines specialized lectures, practical applications, training laboratories, projects, and group activities, contributing to the development of technical and personal skills, and the discovery and sponsorship of promising talents in the field of cybersecurity.

This version of the Academy is implemented in collaboration with a selection of local and international partners. This year it includes Fortinet and Cisco as technology partners, along with innovation partners ICT Misr, F5, Silicon21, Codinger and Career 180, in addition to community partners Coca-Cola and Juhayna, in a model that reflects the integration of government institutions and the private sector to build a sustainable national system for capacity development in the field of cybersecurity.

Through the Academy, the National Institute of Telecommunications continues to develop its training content and expand its geographical scope, thus enhancing its position as one of the most prominent national initiatives aimed at spreading the culture of cybersecurity, preparing qualified digital cadres, and supporting the state's efforts towards achieving a secure and sustainable digital transformation.

Registration for the first phase of the Academy continues until July 10, 2026, provided that applicants are accepted according to the priority of registration.
