China Launches World’s First Mass-Production Line for Humanoid Robots with 10,000-Unit Annual Capacity

In a major leap for global automation, China has officially commenced operations of its first dedicated mass-production line for humanoid robots. Located in Guangdong province, the facility is a joint venture between Leju Robotics and Dongfang Precision Technology. The plant marks a strategic shift from experimental prototyping to large-scale industrial manufacturing, boasting a production cycle of one complete humanoid robot every 30 minutes.

The state-of-the-art facility features a precision-engineered system with 24 assembly stages and 77 inspection points, ensuring rigorous quality control. By integrating advanced automation, the production line has achieved a 50% increase in efficiency compared to traditional semi-automated methods. This milestone positions China as a dominant force in the burgeoning humanoid robotics market, aiming to supply critical sectors from automotive manufacturing to smart home integration.
