CIB Tops EGX Trading Activity with EGP 2.37 Billion Weekly Turnover
Commercial International Bank (CIB) led trading activity on the Egyptian Exchange during the past week, ranking first among main market stocks (excluding block trades) in terms of total traded value.
According to official market data, CIB recorded a trading value of approximately EGP 2.370 billion, with a total trading volume of 18.864 million shares, maintaining its position as the most actively traded stock by value.
Abu Qir Fertilizers and Chemical Industries secured the second position, posting a trading value of EGP 793.386 million and a volume of 8.669 million shares.
Fawry for Banking Technology and Electronic Payments ranked third, with a trading value of EGP 782.686 million, supported by a notably high trading volume of 44.396 million shares, reflecting sustained investor interest in fintech stocks.
In fourth place, Heliopolis Company for Housing and Development recorded a trading value of EGP 677.112 million and a volume of 115.318 million shares.
Arab Developers Holding came fifth, with a trading value of EGP 577.530 million, while registering the highest trading volume among the top five at 2.433 billion shares.
The trading performance highlights continued liquidity concentration in blue-chip and high-activity stocks across key sectors, including banking, fertilizers, fintech, and real estate, amid sustained investor appetite in the Egyptian equity market.
