A strategic partnership between SUD and REDCON SPAIN to deliver a luxury finishing experience at High City Mall
In its ongoing pursuit of excellence in its projects and to meet customer expectations, Safwa Urban Development Company (SUD) announced a contract with REDCON SPAIN to carry out the finishing works for the "High City Mall" project in Obour City. This collaboration aims to enhance the quality of construction and improve the efficiency of the building and the services offered.
Dr. Medhat Shalaby emphasized that this partnership stems from the company's desire to fulfill customer needs for a higher standard of finishing, while simultaneously improving operational efficiency and services within the project. This will enhance the user experience and increase the investment value of the units.
The contract was signed by Dr. Medhat Shalaby, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Safwa Urban Development Company (SUD), and Eng. Amal Abdel Wahed, CEO of REDCON SPAIN, in the presence of senior executives from both companies. This collaboration aims to deliver an integrated business model that combines a prime location with high-quality design and meticulous execution.
He added that the project's finishing work will adhere to the latest international standards for commercial and administrative buildings. This includes the implementation of sophisticated architectural facades using double-glazed tempered glass and modern cladding, ensuring thermal and acoustic insulation and enhancing energy efficiency.
The work also encompasses upgrading entrances and lobbies using high-quality materials such as marble and porcelain, along with the design of common areas and corridors with durable finishes and modern LED lighting systems, creating a comfortable and inviting environment for visitors.
He noted that centralized air conditioning and ventilation systems will be implemented to guarantee air quality and operational efficiency. Furthermore, the project will be supported by smart systems, including surveillance cameras, access control systems, and building management systems (BMS), enhancing security and enabling smart operations.
He explained that these specifications contribute to reducing long-term operating costs and increasing energy efficiency, thus boosting the project's return on investment.
High City Mall is a mixed-use project (commercial, administrative, medical, and entertainment) boasting a prime strategic location directly opposite Ahmed Orabi Square on the central axis of Obour City – Fifth District – and facing the High City Compound.
The project spans approximately 18,000 square meters, with a total built-up area of 28,000 square meters. It comprises a basement, ground floor, and three upper floors, and includes a variety of units such as retail shops, administrative offices, and medical clinics. These units are delivered semi-finished (Core & Shell).
The project also features integrated recreational and service amenities, including a dancing fountain, a children's play area, green spaces, a restaurant area, and a cinema. Shops boast direct views of the main axis and others overlooking the fountain, with dedicated outdoor spaces for the retail units, enhancing the visitor experience.
The company offers flexible payment plans extending up to six years to suit various investor segments.
