As part of its efforts to support education and provide a quality learning environment, QNB Egypt inaugurated the Nashlat Al-Shobak Martyrs Preparatory School for Basic Education in Badrashin, Giza, following its redevelopment and renovation in collaboration with the Good Makers Foundation for Development, a member of the National Alliance for Developmental Civic Action.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Dr. Ahmed Al-Ansari, Governor of Giza; Ali Abdel Raouf, Chief Operations Officer at QNB Egypt; Dr. Hind Abdel Halim, Deputy Governor of Giza; Ambassador Nabila Makram, Head of the National Alliance’s Technical Secretariat; Dr. Mohamed Al-Aqabi, Assistant Minister of Social Solidarity for Strategic Communication and Official Spokesperson; Dr. Mostafa Zamzam, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Good Makers Foundation; and Hany Abdel Fattah, CEO of the Foundation.

The attendees toured the school and praised the efforts of the Good Makers Foundation and its collaboration with QNB Egypt in upgrading the school facilities, highlighting the positive impact on education quality and the creation of a conducive environment for students’ academic development.

This initiative is part of the Foundation’s ongoing program to improve educational facilities nationwide in partnership with QNB Egypt. The renovation works included plumbing repairs, sewage pipe replacement, complete electrical system upgrade, maintenance of doors and windows, interior and exterior painting, wall restoration, ceramic installation, and restroom facilities.

Additional improvements included installing ceiling fans in classrooms and offices, school signage, maintenance of iron gates, repair of desks, blackboards, and classroom boards, the creation of a computer lab, installation of an artificial turf playground, and interlocking tiles—providing students with an attractive and modern learning environment.
