Bosta and SuperJet Launch Landmark Same-Day Intercity Shipping Network Under Ministry of Transport Patronage
Bosta, Egypt’s leading technology-enabled logistics company, has announced a strategic partnership with SuperJet to establish a nationwide same-day intercity shipping network. The unprecedented collaboration is set to handle up to six million shipments annually, marking a major shift in Egypt’s logistics and e-commerce landscape.
The agreement was signed at the headquarters of the Ministry of Transport, under the patronage and in the presence of H.E. Eng. Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Transport and Industry, alongside Mohamed Ezzat, Founder and CEO of Bosta, and Major General Eng. Hassan El-Laithy, CEO of SuperJet.
This first-of-its-kind partnership enables shipment drop-off and pick-up between governorates through SuperJet’s intercity stations, significantly reducing delivery times while maximizing the utilization of Egypt’s transport infrastructure. Once fully rolled out, the network is expected to support up to six million shipments per year, reinforcing nationwide trade movement and logistics services.
Under the agreement, Bosta will be responsible for designing, managing, and operating the end-to-end shipping system, including technology platforms, automation processes, shipment tracking, and customer experience. SuperJet will provide its extensive intercity transport network and operational support to ensure rapid and reliable shipment movement between cities.
Commenting on the partnership, El-Wazir stated that the initiative aligns with the state’s strategy to optimize the use of transport assets through private-sector collaboration, emphasizing that integration between transport modes and logistics services is a cornerstone of economic development.
Mohamed Ezzat highlighted that the partnership represents a key milestone in Bosta’s mission to build a faster, more efficient logistics network nationwide, while Hassan El-Laithy noted that the collaboration expands SuperJet’s role beyond passenger transport to support the growing logistics sector.
The service will launch in phases across high-traffic routes, with plans to expand to additional cities and stations in later stages.
