Egypt’s Unified Electricity Services Platform Advances in 2026 Government

Egypt’s Unified Electricity Services Platform has advanced to the field assessment stage of the 2026 Egypt Government Excellence Award, adding another recognition to a digital platform that has become a key gateway for accessing electricity services online.

The platform was shortlisted in the fifth edition of the awards under the category recognizing excellence in the digital maturity of Egyptian government services, placing it among the government platforms and websites moving forward to on-site evaluation.

The recognition comes as Egypt continues to shift public services toward digital channels, with greater emphasis on making everyday government transactions easier to access while improving reliability, security and the overall user experience.

Through the Unified Electricity Services Platform, citizens can access a range of electricity-related services through a single digital gateway, reducing dependence on conventional service channels and providing a more streamlined way to complete transactions.

Building on global and local recognition

The latest qualification adds to a growing list of recognitions for the platform. In 2025, it received a global digital transformation award from the World Innovation, Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA), highlighting its use of technology in modernizing public services.

It had also previously secured second place in the Egypt Government Excellence Award in a category recognizing government websites for excellence in digital service delivery.

Behind the platform’s public-facing services is a technology infrastructure developed by Fixed Solutions, part of Fixed Investment Group, which has been operating since 2007.

Fixed Solutions built and developed the platform using modern data systems and analytics technologies, alongside cybersecurity and data-protection measures designed to maintain service availability, safeguard information and support the platform as usage grows.

The project reflects an increasingly important aspect of Egypt’s digital transformation drive: moving beyond simply putting government services online toward building integrated platforms capable of delivering a more consistent digital experience.

Reaching the field assessment stage of the 2026 Egypt Government Excellence Award will now put the platform’s digital maturity and service experience under further evaluation alongside other shortlisted government platforms.

For the Unified Electricity Services Platform, the latest recognition also provides another test of how far one of Egypt’s major public-service platforms has progressed in turning complex government transactions into simpler digital interactions for citizens.
