Egyptian Parliament Approves Cabinet Reshuffle Proposed by President El-Sisi
Egypt’s House of Representatives, chaired by Counselor Hisham Badawi, has approved the cabinet reshuffle of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly’s government, following a formal proposal submitted by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
The approval was granted during a parliamentary session in which lawmakers voted collectively on the proposed ministerial changes, in accordance with the country’s constitutional and parliamentary procedures. The decision paves the way for the implementation of the new cabinet lineup as part of the government’s broader reform agenda.
The reshuffle is aimed at strengthening executive performance across key sectors, in line with national priorities related to economic development, public services, and institutional efficiency. The approved changes will take effect following the completion of the remaining constitutional formalities.
