US Dollar Holds Steady Across Egyptian Banks on Sunday

The US dollar maintained a stable trend against the Egyptian pound during Sunday’s trading session in the local foreign exchange market, reflecting balanced supply and demand across most banks.

The lowest buying price was recorded at Emirates NBD, where the dollar stood at EGP 46.81 for buying and EGP 46.91 for selling. At nearby levels, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Housing and Development Bank, and Al Baraka Bank posted buying prices ranging between EGP 46.89 and 46.90, with selling prices between EGP 46.99 and 47.00.

The exchange rate stabilized at EGP 46.91 for buying and EGP 47.01 for selling at QNB Egypt, First Abu Dhabi Bank, and the Egyptian Arab Land Bank, with similar rates reported at Industrial Development Bank, Faisal Islamic Bank, and the Egyptian Gulf Bank.

The same levels were recorded at Banque Misr, the Commercial International Bank (CIB), and the Arab International Bank, underscoring broad market stability.

Meanwhile, National Bank of Egypt, HSBC Egypt, and United Bank traded the dollar at identical rates, while slightly higher prices were seen at Bank of Alexandria, Suez Canal Bank, and the Arab African International Bank, where the dollar reached EGP 46.93 for buying and EGP 47.03 for selling.

At the top end, Export Development Bank of Egypt posted the highest rate of the day at EGP 47.06 for buying and EGP 47.16 for selling, unchanged from previous sessions.
