Egypt Launches Its First National Startup Charter at RiseUp Summit
Egypt’s Ministerial Group for Entrepreneurship is set to launch today, Saturday, the country’s first-ever Startup Charter, marking a milestone achieved after more than a year of joint efforts and continuous coordination among national entities involved in entrepreneurship, the startup ecosystem, investors, members of parliament, and other key stakeholders.
The Startup Charter will be officially unveiled during the RiseUp Summit, in the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation and Chair of the Ministerial Group for Entrepreneurship, along with other cabinet members, startup representatives, entrepreneurs, and investors.
The initiative aims to establish a unified framework that supports the growth of startups in Egypt, enhances collaboration between the public and private sectors, and strengthens the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
