Egypt’s National Telecommunications Institute Hosts First Job Fair Connecting Graduates with Leading IT and Telecom Companies

The National Telecommunications Institute (NTI) concluded its first-ever job fair under the patronage of Dr. Amr Talaat, Egypt’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology, in collaboration with Career 180, a platform specialized in developing employability skills and empowering youth to access real job opportunities locally and internationally. This initiative aligns with NTI’s efforts to prepare Egyptian youth for the ICT job market both domestically and abroad.

The event saw the participation of 43 leading local and international companies in telecommunications and IT, alongside banks and startups. Participating companies conducted on-the-spot interviews, received applications, and offered training and direct employment opportunities. More than 41,000 job applications were submitted through the event’s online registration platform.

The one-day fair, held at NTI’s Creative Egypt Digital Center (“Creativa”) in Giza, was attended by 2,661 graduates from various NTI programs and initiatives, representing 26 governorates across Egypt. Available job opportunities spanned a wide range of specialties, including:

  • Software development and applications

  • Networking and cybersecurity

  • Data analysis

  • FinTech

  • DevOps

  • Technical support

  • Digital marketing
…as well as other ICT-related fields.

Dr. Ahmed Khattab, Director of NTI, emphasized that the strong turnout of both companies and graduates reflects the high level of confidence in NTI’s graduates. He added that the institute’s training programs equip youth with skills that secure employment in leading companies or enable them to launch their own projects, and that the fair facilitated hundreds of real opportunities for direct engagement between graduates and employers.

“Today’s event is a tangible reflection of the Ministry of Communications and IT’s strategy to empower Egyptian youth and of NTI’s pioneering role in developing digital capabilities,” Khattab said. He noted that the success of the job fair encourages NTI to consider repeating the event to meet the growing demand for highly specialized Egyptian talent.

Mohamed Akmal, Co-Founder and CEO of Career 180, highlighted that the fair exemplifies effective collaboration between state institutions and their partners in supporting youth employment and skill development, demonstrating the positive impact of initiatives led by the Ministry and NTI on students and graduates.
