TikTok award winners Middle East and North Africa across 5.7 million votes for 33 content creators in 11 categories
With the vote of 5.7 million users, TikTok honors 33 content creators in 11 categories, who contributed to shaping the culture of the Middle East and North Africa region
Cairo, Egypt, January 9, 2026: TikTok hosted yesterday evening its annual awards ceremony for the Middle East and North Africa region at the Dubai International Financial Center (The Gate), to celebrate the region's leading content creators who had a distinguished impact during 2025. The ceremony was held for the first time in partnership with the Billion Followers Summit, the largest global event dedicated to the development of the content makers' economy. The evening was a milestone in honoring content makers whose stories, creations and impact contributed to drawing the features of this year on the platform and beyond.
The ceremony was presented by two of the region's most prominent influencers on the TikTok platform, Yara Bo Monsef and Sherif Fayed, known for their unique style and close communication with the platform community. The evening also witnessed wonderful performances presented by a selection of the most prominent artists in the region, including Lebanese pop star Nancy Ajram, and the singer-songwriter Wiz the MC, whose song "Show Me Love" spread widely on "Tik Tok", in addition to the actress, singer and writer Yara Mustafa, who achieved great success with her song "Live Black".
To celebrate the diversity of creativity in the region, the TikTok Middle East and North Africa Awards honored 33 content creators in 11 categories, in recognition of their role in building communities, launching new trends, and expanding the horizons of creativity. Among the most prominent winners of this year are Khaled Al-Olayan, who won the Creator of the Year Award; Hana and Omar, who received this year's Change Maker Award for their tangible impact, and Amr Al-Hadi, who won the Innovative Content (Creative) Award. Among other categories nominated by TikTok, beloved artist Mona Khaled won the Entertainment Creator of the Year award, while Benin Naeem won the Fashion Creator of the Year award.
This year's celebration also highlighted brand partners, as L'Oréal Paris Middle East, the world's leading beauty brand, was the main sponsor, hosted an interactive event that included immersive creative moments on the red carpet, and presented the Beauty Content Creator of the Year award. Book Arabia presented the Food Content Creator of the Year award, while Bath & Body Works Arabia presented the Lifestyle Content Creator of the Year award.
TikTok audiences also had the opportunity to participate in the ceremony via @TikTokMENA, which showed behind-the-scenes content and red carpet interviews with the candidates hosted by Talia Fawaz, in addition to full access to all the evening events.
