Vodafone Egypt Reports EGP 55 Billion in Half-Year Revenues as Customer Trust Drives Market-Leading Performance
Vodafone Egypt announced revenues of EGP 55 billion for the first half of its financial year ending 30 September 2025, reaffirming its position as the most trusted and most relied-upon operator in the Egyptian market. The company also increased its infrastructure investments to EGP 7.53 billion during the same period, strengthening network readiness and expanding the reach of its digital services for more than 53 million customers nationwide.
Customer confidence continues to fuel the company’s strong growth in digital financial services. Vodafone Cash reached 12.6 million active users in the first half of the year, maintaining a market-leading share of 55 percent – the largest in Egypt – further consolidating Vodafone’s leadership in digital payments and money transfer solutions.
Vodafone Egypt also received top industry recognition for service quality, securing the awards for Best Mobile Network and Best Fixed Internet Network in Egypt from global independent benchmarking firm UMLAUT. The company also earned new international cybersecurity certifications, while continuing to support small and medium-sized enterprises through its “Ingez” platform and the Vodafone Business Digital Store, which provide a comprehensive suite of digital tools for enterprise growth.
In the healthcare sector, Vodafone strengthened its position as a trusted technology partner by digitizing 628 medical facilities across the country. The company also maintained its status as a leading employer after receiving the SHRM Award for Diversity and Inclusion for the third consecutive year, reflecting its commitment to creating an equitable and supportive work environment.
These achievements were accompanied by significant progress toward Vodafone’s carbon-neutrality target for 2035, supported by clear and measurable sustainability initiatives. On the social front, the company played a vital role in humanitarian support for Gaza by doubling customer donations made through Vodafone Cash and offering free calls to help families stay connected. It also continued its nationwide efforts to empower women through the “Maaki” programme, particularly in rural communities.
Vodafone Egypt affirmed that its continued growth reflects a long-term strategy anchored in customer trust, investment in digital infrastructure, and its broader commitment to economic and social development across the country.
